A significant event, a special date, or just feeling in a funk are good reasons to want an overnight glow-up. Really, you don’t even need to have a reason to enjoy some serious self-care or to make yourself feel good. And the best thing is that there are so many things that you can easily do at home that will make a huge difference in your appearance as soon as the very next day.
So, today, let’s talk about how you can be the best version of yourself. If you want to know how to glow up overnight, here is a list of easy ideas that will have you quickly feeling beautiful, pampered, and amazing overnight!
Easy Ideas For An Overnight Glow Up
Body
Exfoliate
My favorite part of taking a shower is a good scrub down with an exfoliating mitt. Exfoliating has multiple benefits, and it should definitely be included in your overnight glow-up. Exfoliating your skin will remove all the dry, flakey, dead skin cells. Removing dry patches allows you to get a closer shave and can help reduce the risk of ingrown hairs. Another benefit of regularly exfoliating is that your moisturizers and body products will absorb more effectively. Plus, your skin tone will be more even and the increased circulation will give your skin a natural glow. Salt scrubs, sugar scrubs, loofas, and hand mitts are some of the different skin care products that will all get the job done.
Remove Body Hair
Shaving, waxing, and epilating are all effective and easy options for hair removal that you can do at home. Nothing feels better than smooth, soft skin, and de-fuzzing your body will instantly make you feel better. Shaving is best done on the same day as a special event for the smoothest skin possible. Waxing and epilating last longer and will give you the smoothest results. But I would caution that you test a small patch of skin a few days before your event, just in case your skin has a reaction.
Lymphatic Drainage
Dry brushing or lymphatic massage will help flush out waste, toxins, and extra water weight that may make you feel bloated. It also increases blood circulation to give your skin a healthy glow. It’s super easy, only takes a few minutes, and feels so good. This ritual can easily fit into a daily routine, and I try to do it every morning before stepping into the shower.
Manicure
Your at-home manicure experience will depend on your skill level. I personally couldn’t do a good job of painting my own nails if my life depended on it, but I can cut, file, and buff my nails and instantly feel better about myself. Pedicure

For the healthiest, most radiant skin, make healthy eating a regular part of your lifestyle.
Hair
Massage Scalp And Brush Hair
A scalp massage is so relaxing, but it’s also excellent for your hair’s health. Doing so exfoliates the scalp by loosening buildup and increases microcirculation for healthier hair. Try and spend a few minutes massaging your scalp both morning and night to see an increase in healthy hair growth.
Hair Mask
I feel like the best way to upgrade your physical appearance is to have beautiful, healthy hair. And the easiest way to do that is to deep condition your hair on a regular basis.
A good nourishing hair mask will deeply condition and hydrate your hair while restoring elasticity and strength. If you want your hair to have an overnight glow up, leave a mask in overnight for even greater benefit. In the morning, your hair will be manageable, soft, and so shiny! Whiten Teeth
Teeth whitening may be one of the most noticeable ways to glow up in one night! Removing stains and whitening your teeth is a super easy way to brighten and enhance your smile in an hour. Clear Breakouts
Have an annoying breakout? Hydrocolloid patches improve the look of pimples overnight without squeezing or popping them, which could make the blemish much worse. Drink Up
