The 10 Bright Summer Nails You’ll Want To Try

If only it could be summer year-round. Honestly, there’s nothing like the warm weather and longer days of summertime. The sweet days of summer call for bright and vibrant colors, and what better way to celebrate the season than with a fun nail design?

Bright nails can add color to your outfits and allow you to express your personality and creativity. Not to mention, the right nail color can really take an outfit (no matter the occasion) to the next level.

Are you looking for some summer nail inspiration? Then, I’m glad you’re here. I’m sharing a round-up of bright summer nail ideas that can echo the warmth and cheerfulness of the season.

10 Bright Summer Nails

Solid White

I’m no stranger to black nail polish, but there’s something about white nails in the summertime that I adore. White is my go-to color for bright, short summer nails. It’s a neutral color that’s also bold enough to hold its own against other dramatic colors. Plus, it looks great on all skin tones, nail shapes, and lengths.

White is one of my favorite nail colors that go with everything. For a soft white polish, I love Funny Bunny by OPI. It looks incredibly gorgeous with gold jewelry.

Bright Neon Summer Nails

From bright summer acrylic nails to carefully painted natural neon nails, when it comes to this summer’s nail trends, one thing’s for sure: the brighter, the better.

Lime green, neon green, neon pink, or citrus green are all winners in my book. Play around with different designs and try incorporating several neon colors to create a manicure that really pops.

Bright Aura Nails

As I said, bright neon summer nails are all the rage right now. But there’s one particular way to show them off that is becoming a must-have for nail fanatics: auras. The best aura designs are made using an airbrush technique, so you might have to rely on your manicurist to pull off this trend.

Some summer auras I’m loving right now include orange and pink auras and these vibrant multi-colored auras.

Bright Orange

Bright orange nail polish practically screams summer. You can mix things up with different shades of bright orange or opt for a fun design with orange accents.

The key to pulling off this summer trend is choosing vibrant shades of orange that are more neon orange and less Halloween orange.

Bright Bold Blue Hue Nails

Blue nail polish is always a hit for summer. Cobalt can be a stunning pop of color for an otherwise neutral outfit. Baby blue is gorgeous as a softer pastel and can really make your summer tan pop. These solid blue nails and blue nails with a twist are equally stunning.

French Tips

French tips are always on trend. You can do a classic white French tip on just about any nail shape. You can also mix things up and add a pop of color with bright summer French tips like these neon tips. For a unique look, try white tips with a floral design.

Bright Ombre Nails

The ombre hair trend might have been replaced with balayage locks, but ombre nails are here to stay. With the right colors, ombre nails are radiant any time of year. Bright colors like yellows, oranges, pinks, and greens can be blended to create bright summer ombre nails.

There are several fun ways to use an ombre design on your nails. You can do bright ombre tips, blend two summer nail colors, or even use three colors to create a more unique ombre design.

Bright Summer Coffin Nails

Coffin nails have become popular because of their unique shape. With tapered sides and a straight tip, they’re more durable than other nail shapes. This means they’re just as feminine but great for holding up to all your summer activities (including chasing the kiddos around).

Coffin nails are great for experimenting. You can try a new summer nail design or get creative with summer nail art. If neutrals are more your style, you can paint your nails to match your everyday summer look makeup.

Bright Summer Gel Nails

Colorful Gel Nail

If there’s ever a time to consider gel nails, it’s during the summer. Gel nails are formed with a unique polish that is set using a UV light. You’re then left with a durable manicure that will last through every minute of summer fun and play.

To make the most of your gel nails this summer, consider incorporating vibrant colors and unique designs. From tie-dye to swirls to florals, there are so many fantastic options for your bright summer gel nails.

Classic Summer Sunset Hues

For an eye-catching color palette, create sunset hues using bright pink, orange, and yellow nail polish. This summer-inspired color combination is perfect for summer and can add a pop of color to any outfit.

For gorgeous summer nails, remember sometimes brighter is better!

A stunning manicure is a great way to express yourself and add a pop of color to your summer outfit. There are endless color and design possibilities, but one trend stands out this season: bright colors are in.

The most important $27 I ever spent taught me why I overspend.

You buy something you didn’t really need. You feel amazing for about an hour. Then the good feeling quietly turns into guilt… and the little speech starts: why did I do that?

This week’s episode of the Purfect Sunday Podcast is about the emotional side of money — not budgeting or spreadsheets, the feelings underneath what and why we buy. 💛

Here’s what I learned the hard way:
→ Most spending was never about the thing. It’s about a feeling we’re trying to change — stress, sadness, boredom, loneliness, feeling invisible.

→ Breaking the cycle isn’t about white-knuckling your way through life never buying anything nice. It’s naming the emotion driving the need to shop, and putting time between the urge and the buy.

This week’s challenge: next time you feel the urge to buy something you weren’t planning on, pause before you check out and ask one question — what am I feeling right now?

  • Your life can look completely different 6 months from now if you get strict with yourself and lock-in 🔒
  • We officially have 6 months left in 2026 — and no, you are not behind.

Six months is enough time to lock in. To become the girl who drinks the water, reads the books, moves her body, takes care of her hair, skin and nails, and actually dresses like she’s the main character. Six months is enough time to glow up in any area of your life you’ve been putting off.

And here’s your reminder: money spent on your health, learning, and feeling your best — is never wasted. That’s not splurging. That’s investing in the woman you’re becoming.
Half the year is still yours. Let’s not waste it. 🤍
