15 Vegan Snacks For Kids

As any parent would know, kids get hungry. Some days it feels like their appetite is insatiable. But even on those days, you don’t have to resort to unhealthy snacks to satisfy them. I’ve learned over the years that there are plenty of vegan snacks that even the pickiest eater will enjoy. Plus, giving kids vegan snacks is a great way to add more nutrients and vitamins to their diet, avoid common allergies, and even avoid common auto-immune trigger foods. (Which, in my household, is always top of mind.)

Vegan snacks are plant-based foods that don’t contain any animal products. For children, some studies show that vegan diets may lower the risk of developing obesity, hypertension, high cholesterol, type 2 diabetes, and heart disease. This is just one reason we practice a vegan diet, in addition to many more.

So if you’re looking for vegan snacks for your kids, you’ve come to the right place. I’m sharing a round-up of snack options that are nutritious, delicious, and, most importantly, kid-approved.

15 Vegan Snacks For Kids

Vegan Snacks For Kids

High Protein Vegan Snacks

GoMacro Kids Protein Bars

For an easy, high-protein vegan snack that kids will love, reach for GoMacro Kids Protein Bars. These grab-and-go protein bars are made from maple syrup, a plant-based protein blend, and sunflower seed butter. They’re soft, slightly chewy, and available in a bunch of flavors, including Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Double Chocolate Brownie, and Peanut Butter Cup flavors. YUM!

GoMacro Kids Protein Bars

Chia Pudding

Chia pudding is a great snack for kids because it’s easy to customize and is loaded with important nutrients. For an easy protein-packed snack, simply mix a serving of chia seeds into your child’s favorite dairy-free vegan yogurt. You can even add some chocolate chips for a sweet treat.

Chia Pudding

Seeded Crackers With Bean Dip

Seeded crackers are crunchier and more nutritious saltine crackers. These plant-powered crackers are super crunchy and go great with various spreads. For a protein- and fiber-packed snack that kids will love, try serving seeded crackers with bean dip.

On their own, seeded crackers provide as much as 8 g of protein in a single serving. A serving of black bean dip adds another 5 g of protein.

Vegan Snacks For Kids

Easy Homemade Vegan Snacks

Fresh Fruits and Vegetables

Fresh fruits and veggies are probably the easiest vegan snack idea, and they’re always my go-to snack choice for me and my kids. With so many options to choose from and countless ways to serve them to kids, fresh produce will always be my top snack choice.

Fresh Fruits and Vegetables

Dairy-Free Yogurt

I mentioned earlier that dairy-free yogurt mixed with chia seeds makes a delicious healthy vegan snack for kids. But that’s just one way for them to enjoy this flavorful and nutritious food.

You can serve your kids a cup of dairy-free yogurt on its own or mix in fresh fruit, vegan granola, or unsweetened dried fruits. No matter how you serve it, this snack is loaded with calcium, protein, and vitamin D.

(This is also one of many great vegan breakfast ideas for kids!)

Vegan Snacks For Kids

Homemade Popsicles

If your kid loves popsicles, you’re in luck. There are a ton of recipes for homemade vegan popsicles that are delicious and nutritious. Popsicles are fun, tasty, and healthy summer snacks.

These Cookies and Cream Vegan Popsicles from Veg Kitchen are always a hit, as are these Green Smoothie Popsicles from Vegan Heaven. You can also get creative and make your own using your favorite vegan ingredients and a popsicle mold.

Making homemade popsicles is a fun way to get your kids involved in the kitchen, but I know that not everyone has the time to make their own. If you prefer store-bought popsicles, I recommend Goodpop Popsicles.

Whether store-bought or homemade, popsicles are always a hit with kids.

Homemade Popsicles

Store Bought Vegan Snacks

Love Corn Crunchy Corn Snacks

Love Corn Crunchy Corn Snacks

Love Corn is a fantastic alternative to potato chips. These crunchy corn snacks are made with simple ingredients, yet they’re surprisingly flavorful.

You can grab a resealable pack of Love Corn so that you always have some on hand for your kids, or you can pack individual servings in their lunches for a nutritious vegan snack. Flavor varieties include sea salt, smoked BBQ, cheesy, habanero chili, and salt and vinegar flavors.

Partake Soft Vegan Cookies

Enjoy Life Soft Baked Cookies

Partake Soft Vegan Cookies are crazy soft and delicious. I challenge you to find softer cookies than these. They’re a great option when your kids want a sweet treat. (And for when you want a sweet treat as well!)

Enjoy Life Soft Baked Cookies are nut-free, gluten-free, non-GMO, kosher, halal, and vegan. They’re also free of the most common allergens, making them safe for schools. You can grab a pack of Partake Soft Vegan Cookies in several different flavors, including Double Chocolate Brownie, cookie Butter, Chocolate Chip, and Lemon.

Sensible Portions Veggie Straws

Sensible Portions Veggie Straws

Veggie straws are an easy snack that kids love. The crunchy sticks are made from potatoes and colored with plant-based powders like spinach and beetroot. They’re a delicious vegan snack that has 0 mg cholesterol and 0 g trans fat per serving. Plus, they have 30% less fat than the leading brand of potato chips.

You can pick from several flavor options, including sea salt, Zesty Ranch, and Screamin’ Hot.

Annie’s Fruit Snacks

Annie’s Fruit Snacks

These are a snack idea for kids who are picky eaters. Annie’s is a brand known for its tasty vegan products, and these are no different. Kids adore the organic, gelatin-free bunnies and fruit tape made with cane sugar and fruit juice. You can feel good giving these fruit snacks to your kids, and believe me when I say they will love them!

Blake’s Seed-Based Crispy Treats

Blake’s Seed-Based Crispy Treats

Blake’s Seed-Based Crispy Treats are a big hit with vegan (and non-vegan) kids. These crispy treats are packed with sunflower seeds, flax seeds, and pumpkin seeds for a load of plant-powered nutrition. But honestly, they’re so yummy that your kids won’t even realize they’re eating something good for them.

Keep a variety pack on hand, and your kids can choose between Original, Chocolate Chip, and Birthday Cake flavors. Each snack is only 90 calories, so they make a great guilt-free snack for adults too.

Once Again Sunflower Butter Graham Cracker Sandwiches

Once Again Sunflower Butter Graham Cracker Sandwiches

These Sunflower Butter Graham Cracker Sandwiches from Once Again are a great snack idea for any vegan kid without a nut allergy. Each pack contains two cracker sandwiches for an easy, satisfying on-the-go snack.

For a homemade version of this treat, simply smear sunflower seed butter, peanut butter, or another nut butter on vegan graham crackers. If you don’t have any graham crackers at home, you can use a rice cake instead.

Daiya Dairy Free Mozzarella Style Vegan Cheese Sticks

Vegan Snacks For Kids

Cheese sticks are a popular snack for kids, and thanks to these Dairy-Free Mozzarella Style Vegan Cheese Sticks from Daiya, vegan kids can enjoy them too.

Each vegan cheese stick is individually wrapped, so they’re great for lunches, picnics, and on-the-go eating. They’re Non-GMO Project Verified, Kosher, Certified Gluten-Free, and Certified Plant-Based. Plus, they’re delicious!

Rule Breaker Snacks

Vegan Snacks For Kids

Rule Breaker Snacks are popular kid-friendly snacks made from real, clean ingredients. They’re 100% plant-based, Certified Gluten-Free, Kosher, and Non-GMO Project Verified. Plus, they’re free from the top 11 allergens.

Rule Breaker Snacks contain less sugar and fewer calories than the average kid-friendly treat. They’re also loaded with protein and fiber. You and your kids are going to love these nutritious and delicious soft-baked snacks.

Hippeas

Hippeas chickpea puffs

Hippeas are another top-rated, kid-friendly vegan snack. These puff snacks offer a satisfying crunch in White Cheddar “Cheese” and Nacho “Cheese” flavors.

Each pack of Hippeas provides 3 g of plant protein and 2 g of fiber. They’re Certified Gluten-Free, Kosher and contain no peanuts, tree nuts, or soy. You can feel good about giving your kids Hippeas when they’re craving a salty snack.

These vegan snacks are loaded with flavor and nutrition to satisfy both you and your kids.

A vegan diet isn’t nearly as restrictive as some people think. There are a ton of different snacks that kids will love and easy vegan snack recipes you can quickly make at home. Plus, they’re loaded with so many nutrients that parents can feel good about.

If ou have a favorite kid-friendly vegan snack that wasn’t mentioned in this post, I’d love to hear about it. Tell me in the comments!

The most important $27 I ever spent taught me why I overspend.

You buy something you didn’t really need. You feel amazing for about an hour. Then the good feeling quietly turns into guilt… and the little speech starts: why did I do that?

This week’s episode of the Purfect Sunday Podcast is about the emotional side of money — not budgeting or spreadsheets, the feelings underneath what and why we buy. 💛

Here’s what I learned the hard way:
→ Most spending was never about the thing. It’s about a feeling we’re trying to change — stress, sadness, boredom, loneliness, feeling invisible.

→ Breaking the cycle isn’t about white-knuckling your way through life never buying anything nice. It’s naming the emotion driving the need to shop, and putting time between the urge and the buy.

This week’s challenge: next time you feel the urge to buy something you weren’t planning on, pause before you check out and ask one question — what am I feeling right now?

We officially have 6 months left in 2026 — and no, you are not behind.

Six months is enough time to lock in. To become the girl who drinks the water, reads the books, moves her body, takes care of her hair, skin and nails, and actually dresses like she’s the main character. Six months is enough time to glow up in any area of your life you’ve been putting off.

And here’s your reminder: money spent on your health, learning, and feeling your best — is never wasted. That’s not splurging. That’s investing in the woman you’re becoming.
Half the year is still yours. Let’s not waste it. 🤍
