When it comes to fall fashion boots hold a special place in my heart. Don’t get me wrong, I love my coats and cozy sweaters, but nothing can pull an outfit together like a pair of boots. As well as being warm and functional (most of the time anyway) there are so many styles to choose from. They can be dressed up or down, used to toughen up more girlie attire, or balance out skin-baring outfits. Boot styles range from sued to leather to rubber, ankle to over the knee, and everything in between. There are cute boot options out there for everyone no matter what your style.

So I’ve rounded up the best (IMHO) boots of the season in the trendiest styles that range from pretty affordable to full-on splurge. I truly believe that every woman should have several pairs in her closet to choose from.
