15 Vegan Snacks For Kids
As any parent would know, kids get hungry. Some days it feels like their appetite is insatiable. But even on those days, you don’t have to resort to unhealthy snacks to satisfy them. I’ve learned over the years that there are plenty of vegan snacks that even the pickiest eater will enjoy. Plus, giving kids vegan snacks is a great way to add more nutrients and vitamins to their diet, avoid common allergies, and even avoid common auto-immune trigger foods. (Which, in my household, is always top of mind.)
Vegan snacks are plant-based foods that don’t contain any animal products. For children, some studies show that vegan diets may lower the risk of developing obesity, hypertension, high cholesterol, type 2 diabetes, and heart disease. This is just one reason we practice a vegan diet, in addition to many more.
So if you’re looking for vegan snacks for your kids, you’ve come to the right place. I’m sharing a round-up of snack options that are nutritious, delicious, and, most importantly, kid-approved.
