Must Have Products From My Summer Beauty Haul
Even though I truly know, that I rarely have a need to go buy more beauty products, I have a hard time stopping myself. I’ll admit that I can happily waste a lot of time browsing Sephora’s website. But I am happy to say that I’m getting better at putting stuff in my basket and then logging off without actually buying anything. If an item still has my attention the next time I’m on the site then I’ll usually end up buying it. Honestly doing this has saved me from making a lot of impulse purchases.
But as some of you may be able to tell by now, I truly love the summer season, and that’s really all the excuse I needed for a summer beauty haul. I restocked a few favorites and picked out a few new products that I’ve been wanting to try. Here’s what I bought and why!
The Best Beauty Products For A Beautiful Summer
The Unseen Sunscreen from Supergoop is a staple in my makeup bag and daily skin routine. But I just bought a mini size that can easily fit inside of my purse. Now I can easily reapply my sunscreen when I’m out for the day. Most signs of premature aging can be greatly reduced with the right protective measures. Wearing a hat and sunscreen is a must when it comes to preventing wrinkles, freckles, and the worsening of melasma (like I have above my lip).
Nars Laguna Bronzing Powder is my usual everyday bronzer. But I switched to the cream bronzer in the same shade for summertime. The creamy formula is highly pigmented, blends easily, and is perfect for creating a dewy summer glow!
After removing my lash extensions three years ago, I spent a lot of time and money searching for the best mascara. This is the lash duo that top’s my list. Every few months I replace them again.
The Cils Booster XL Super-Enhancing Mascara Primer is the first step to creating long full lashes. The nurturing formula protects lashes and enhances the mascara’s effects.
Lash Idôle Lash-Lifting & Volumizing Mascara is the next step to creating lifted, feathery, long, full lashes that are never clumpy. It also comes in a waterproof formula, but I have found the regular one to work just fine.
Dream Coat Supernatural Spray Anti-Frizz Treatment is another first-time purchase for me. My friend spoke highly of it, so I decided to give it a try. After the first use, my hair was noticeably shinier. However, the true test of this product will come next week while I’m in Maui. The humidity control will be put to the test.
These Large Hair Claws from Amazon have held up and last much longer than other brands I’ve bought. And the best part is they are a fraction of the price. Since they do seem to slowly disappear (probably from my daughter taking them) I order new ones every few months.
ShineOn Jelly Lip Gloss from Tower 28 was an impulse buy based on the high reviews and the fact that I love their cream blush. The light translucent gloss is nonsticky and very hydrating. I haven’t been using it for long, but so far I’m happy with the purchase.
