The Everyday Fashion Staples I Wear On Repeat
Like most people, I like to always feel put together and know that I’m leaving my house looking nice. However, I really don’t want to spend much time or thought on what I’m wearing from day to day. Most people with kids know that getting out of the house in the morning can be a rushed pain in the ass. I prefer to spend my free time before everyone is up on my morning routine and skincare. This gives very little time for planning an outfit.
For the last few years, I’ve been shopping in a different way that makes pulling together outfits so much easier. I do this when shopping for both new seasonal pieces and everyday year-round fashion staples.

How I shop For My Clothes
Stick To My Color Pallete
This is an easy one for me. Even though it may be strange, wearing lots of colors gives me anxiety. I used to buy anything that I thought was cute, but then it stayed in the closet never to be worn. Now that I know this about myself, I buy less stuff and get more use out of what I own. One benefit of sticking to a color pallet that is more on the neutral side is that all the colors always go together.
Find Basics For Layering
Anytime I find a simple clean cut tank top or t-shirt I stock up on my colors. I also look for tops that I can dress up or down, depending on the accessories. In the summer crop tops and light t-shirts go with your favorite jeans for an effortless everyday look.
Stick To My Favorites
Even though I have a lot of jeans, there are two or three pairs that I wear on repeat. I keep these ones up front in my closet and know exactly what an outfit is going to look like with them on. Including which shoes I like with them, and what style of top looks best. This makes getting dressed pretty effortless.
